Titleon

Titleon features

Short answer. Titleon is a free meta title and meta description generator that finds a page's keywords automatically, with pixel-accurate length checks, a Google result preview, writing that adapts to the page type, three languages, and a bulk mode with sitemap import and CSV export.

Automatic keyword detection

Paste a URL and Titleon reads the whole page, ranks the phrases used in the H1, title, URL, headings and body, and fills in the strongest one as your target keyword. Other candidates appear as one-click chips, and Hindi and Arabic pages switch the language for you. In bulk mode every page gets its own keyword.

Pixel-true counts

Google truncates titles by width, not by character count. Titleon measures every title in Arial at 20 px against a 580 px target and every description at 14 px against 920 px, then shows the characters and pixels beside a gauge that fills as you type. Read why pixels matter.

A score for your current tags

Before writing anything, Titleon scores the title and description the page has now, out of 100, and says in plain words what to fix: cut off in Google, too short, keyword missing, or no description at all.

Share preview

See how the page looks when the link is shared on WhatsApp, LinkedIn, Facebook or X, with its og:title, og:description and og:image. Missing tags are flagged, with what apps show instead.

Copy as HTML

One button copies the chosen title and description as ready-to-paste title and meta description tags, with matching Open Graph tags if you want them, for sites you edit by hand.

Google preview, desktop and mobile

See the result before you publish it: favicon letter, brand line, breadcrumb URL, blue title and gray description. Switch between the wide desktop layout and the narrow mobile one, which wraps titles to two lines.

Writing that fits the page type

A product page, a blog post, a service page and a home page need different titles. Titleon detects the type and adjusts: products lead with the item and its difference, blog posts make the promise of the article clear, services lead with the outcome.

Keyword, tone and brand controls

Add a target keyword and every title includes it near the start, phrased naturally. Pick professional, friendly, urgent or premium. Add the brand to the end of each title, or leave it off.

English, Hindi and Arabic

Options are written natively in each language. The Google preview switches to right-to-left layout for Arabic, and CSV exports are saved as UTF-8 so Hindi and Arabic text opens correctly in Excel.

Bulk mode and sitemap import

Paste URLs, upload a CSV with a url column, or load a sitemap (up to 500 pages, including sitemap index files). Pages are processed three at a time with a progress bar.

Duplicate check

Pages with near-identical titles compete with each other in search. Bulk mode flags titles that share most of their words, and identical descriptions, so you can fix them before exporting.

CSV export for any CMS

Download one sheet with the URL, page type, current title and description, new title and description, length counts and a status column. It opens in Excel and Google Sheets and imports into Shopify, WordPress and other CMS tools.

WordPress and Shopify exports

Bulk mode also exports a WordPress sheet with the Yoast SEO and Rank Math title and description fields, ready for an import plugin, and a Shopify sheet with your product pages matched by handle.

Rewrite one option

Not happy with one title or description? Press the arrow on that option to write just that one again. The others stay as they are, and the next rewrites appear instantly.

Paste text when a page will not load

Some pages block automated readers or build everything with JavaScript. Paste the page's heading and main text instead and Titleon writes from that, with the same keyword detection and checks.

Saved results

Open the same page with the same settings again on the same day and your earlier options come straight back, without waiting. Press the button again whenever you want fresh ones.
